A Look Inside The Amberly

By Luis Lucero

Over in Brooklyn, a new luxury tower is rising on the crossroads of three Brooklyn neighborhoods: The Amberly. Soaring up to 33 stories in the air, this glass and terra-cotta building designed by Woods Bagot is designed with impeccable views in mind. Aside from the local vistas of Brooklyn Heights, DUMBO, and Downtown Brooklyn, the Amberly also offers the always stunning views of Lower Manhattan, Williamsburg, and the East River bridges.

Throughout the building, 270 apartments will be offered, ranging from studios to three bedroom rentals. Selected apartments will also come with private outdoor space for tenants. Rental rates are $2,930/month for a studio, $3,465/month for a one-bedroom, $5,720/month for a two-bedroom and $8,800/month for a three-bedroom. Among the amenities that are offered include a fitness center with Peloton bike systems, a 10,000 square foot plaza on the ground level for both residents and the surrounding neighborhood, and a 9th floor lounge that includes a wraparound sundeck, landscaped terrace, and grill & alfresco dining spaces.

But the amenity that really sets the Amberly out is The Overlook lounge that takes up the uppermost floor. What could have easily been made into a penthouse space has instead been utilized for yet another gathering spot for residents. It is here that one can really take in all of the amazing views that the Amberly offers. And when the sun goes down and Manhattan lays out its tapestry of light, the view really do become something to behold.
