A Look At Katherine Newman's Brooklyn Point

If you’re looking for a new, modern condominium right in the heart of Brooklyn, Brooklyn Point is perfect. Currently, it is the only for sale property in the entertainment hub, City Point. Standing at a shocking 720 feet tall, the views look not only into the rest of Brooklyn and surrounding neighborhoods, but Manhattan and Lady Liberty as well. With beautiful architecture and amazing locale, what’s not to like?

The most attractive about Brooklyn Point are the amenities themselves. Let us begin with the in-house amenities. From the top, quite literally, there is the highest residential infinity pool in the Western Hemisphere. Along with the record-breaking pool, the top of the Brooklyn Point Tower holds fully-visible views of the New York City skyline and the Hudson River. The rooftop also holds area for leisure, dining, and sunbathing for any activity residents would think of enjoying with a view. Not too far down below lays the Fitness center. Now, this is more than a gym. It holds cardio, courts, spin rooms along with strengthening equipment, but also holds adventure. You are welcomed with an indoor rock-climbing wall, where you’ll overlook the skyline through the massive windows. The center also holds another pool: a 65-foot-long indoor pool centered in the condominium’s spa. Last but not least, the ninth floor consists of a wraparound terrace which holds a wine-tasting room, restaurants, and a fire pit.

A concern that can turn some potential residents away – especially families- is the space and limitations that condominiums create for children. Brooklyn Point offers large floor plans of up to 1400 square feet and a full 3 bedroom and 3 baths. Not only the living space, but the building holds a game room and a children’s forest adventure so they can have fresh air outdoors even in the hustle and bustle of downtown Brooklyn.

Apart from the endless activities for friends, a date, or family, Brooklyn Point continues to impress even further with its floor plans. Starting from studio apartments to a three-bedroom, the amenities don’t stop at entertainment. According to the Brooklyn Point website, the intention with the interior design was to maximize space and functionality. That it does with the sleek and modern designs that Katherine Newman Designs created for these residential apartments. Residents get the option of choosing a light or dark theme for their cabinetry and flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms. Both offer very minimalistic choices along with the oak vanities and marble counters, all of which are enhanced by the abundance of natural light entering through floor-to-ceiling windows. The craftsmanship in the bathroom mosaics show the time and passion put forth into the details of these apartments.

Closings are scheduled to start in 2020. To learn more about floor plans, entertainment, and additional amenities, check out their website.
